- Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital near Seattle, WA is now accepting applications for our 13 month 2010/2011 internship program. Starting date in June or July 2010. Preference is given to new graduates. We are a 3.5 doctor, 100% avian/exotic hospital which is a thriving daytime practice as well as a 24-hour emergency hospital. - Animal House of Chicago is offering internships with emphasis on exotic pets. This is a three doctor small animal practice in Chicago that sees 80% exotics of which 35% are reptiles and amphibians (approx. 10 reptile/amphibian patients per day), 30% birds, and 35% small mammals.
