* Infectious Diseases Laboratory Zoo and Exotic Pathology Service, Department of Small Animal Medicine, University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, Athens, GA, 30602, USA Chronic monocytic leukemia with infiltration to the liver, small intestine, kidneys, and subconjunctival tissues was diagnosed in a 5-year-old, male, captive-bred inland bearded dragon, Pogona vitticeps, that presented with lethargy, weight loss, and dehydration. Characterization of the neoplastic cells was aided by the use of cytochemical and immunohistochemical techniques. [Abstract] |
